Privacy Policy
Last updated October 16, 2026
This policy explains what information the Brisk app and website ("Brisk", "we", operated by Brisk LLC) collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Brisk you agree to this policy.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, username, email address, phone number, profile photo and business details (business name, logo, license number, review link).
- Payment setup: to take payments, a business sets up its own Stripe account. Stripe collects and verifies the legal name, date of birth, address, tax ID and bank details it needs. Brisk only receives the status (for example "ready to take payments"), not those details.
- Payments: payments your customers make to you through Brisk, refunds, invoices, estimates and plan subscriptions. Card numbers are entered with Stripe and never reach Brisk.
- Your customers: the customer names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, job notes, signatures and photos you enter for jobs, invoices, estimates and maintenance plans.
- Customers who pay a Brisk business: the name, email and phone you give on an invoice, estimate or plan sign-up page, so the business can serve you.
- Device and safety data: a device identifier, platform, sign-in times and crash reports, used to protect accounts and fix bugs.
- Support messages you send us.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts or browsing history, and we do not use advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To run your account and take payments for you through Stripe.
- To prevent fraud and keep accounts safe.
- To meet legal, tax and record-keeping duties.
- To answer support requests and send account messages (sign-in codes, receipts, security alerts).
- To fix problems and improve Brisk.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only:
- With Stripe, which processes payments, runs each business's payment account and pays businesses out to their bank (Stripe Privacy Policy).
- With Google Firebase, which hosts our app, database and crash reports.
- With email and text providers that deliver sign-in codes and receipts.
- Between a business and its customers: customers see the business's name, logo and contact details; the business sees what the customer entered to pay or sign up.
- When the law requires it, or to stop fraud or protect people's safety.
- If Brisk is sold or merged, with the new owner, who must keep honoring this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. Payment records are kept for several years after an account closes (usually five) for tax and legal reasons, then deleted. Everything else is deleted or made anonymous when you close your account.
Your choices
- Close your account any time in the app: Settings → Delete account.
- Update your name, photo and business details in the app.
- Ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing brisk@shuttlepay.app. Depending on where you live (for example California) you may have further rights, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Card and bank data stays with Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your sign-in details private.
Children
Brisk is only for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has an account, email us and we will close it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is important.
