Terms of Use
Last updated October 16, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Brisk LLC ("Brisk"). By using Brisk you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
What Brisk is
Brisk is business software for scheduling jobs, sending estimates and invoices, and getting paid. Brisk is not a bank and does not hold your money. Payments are processed by Stripe: each business gets its own Stripe account, customers pay the business through Stripe, and Stripe pays the business's bank. By taking payments you also agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Services Agreement.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older, run a business in the United States, give true information, and use Brisk only for lawful goods and services.
Payments
You are the seller for the work and products you charge for, and you are responsible for refunds, disputes and chargebacks on your payments. If a customer disputes a payment, the amount (and any dispute fee) is taken back from your Stripe balance. If your balance can't cover it, you agree to repay Brisk, and Brisk may collect it from your future payments or the bank account linked to your Stripe account. Brisk or Stripe may decline or pause payments that look fraudulent or break these terms.
Fees
Brisk keeps a fee from each payment: 3.9% + 40¢ with no plan (pay as you go, no monthly fee), 3.5% + 30¢ on Starter, 3.2% + 30¢ on the Mid Package, 3.0% + 30¢ on the Full Package, and 8% + 30¢ when a customer finances with Affirm or Klarna. Cards issued outside the US add 1.5%. The fee applies to the full amount the customer pays, including tips, shipping and each payment of a payment plan. Fees are not returned when you refund a payment.
Anything you owe Brisk (for example the part of a refund or dispute your Stripe balance didn't cover, a dispute fee, or the international card charge) is added to the fee on your next payments, at most half of any one payment, until it is paid. If a dispute is decided in your favor, the disputed amount is returned to you.
Plans
Brisk Starter ($15 per month, just you), the Mid Package ($49 per month, you and up to 3 techs) and the Full Package ($199 per month including 10 techs, plus $15 per month for each extra tech) renew automatically each month until you cancel. Office and dispatch users are free, one for each tech you have room for and at least 2. Changing the number of techs is prorated. You can also take card payments with no plan at the pay-as-you-go rate. You can cancel any time in the app, and your plan stays on until the end of the paid month. If you subscribe through Apple, the subscription is billed to your Apple ID and managed in your Apple ID settings. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
Maintenance plans
If you sell maintenance plans, your customers are charged automatically until they cancel, and you must deliver what the plan promises. Brisk shows customers the price, how often they are charged and a way to cancel online at any time.
Payment plans you offer
If you let customers split a bill, the plan is between you and your customer. Brisk plans are limited to 4 payments with no interest, finance charges or fees, and Brisk charges the customer's saved card on the dates shown to them. If a customer stops paying, the unpaid amount is yours to collect; Brisk does not guarantee or buy plan payments.
Financing
Financing offered on your invoices is provided by Affirm or Klarna under their own terms. They decide who is approved and set any rates. You are paid the full amount (less fees) and are not responsible if the customer stops paying them.
Discounts, promo codes and tips
You set your own discounts and promo codes and must honor them. Tips are paid to you with the payment.
Your shop
If you sell products through a Brisk shop, you are the seller. You are responsible for what you sell, shipping, returns, sales tax and following the law. You may not sell anything illegal, regulated (like alcohol, tobacco, weapons or drugs) or that Stripe doesn't allow.
Teams
You are responsible for the people you add to your team and what they do in Brisk, and for following wage and employment law. Timesheets and payroll reports are tools to help you; you are responsible for paying your team correctly.
Your customers
You are responsible for having permission to store and contact your customers. Only text customers who agreed to get texts from you.
Closing your account
You can close your account in the app at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law.
Limits on liability
Brisk is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Brisk is not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
Apple
If you got Brisk from the App Store, these terms are between you and Brisk, not Apple. Apple has no duty to provide support or maintenance for Brisk, and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
